Do I need a credit card to start?
No. All paid plans include a 30-day free trial with no credit card required.
Can I change plans at any time?
Yes. You can upgrade or downgrade at any time. When upgrading, you will be charged a prorated amount. When downgrading, your account will be credited for the unused portion.
What is the difference between Author and Publisher tracks?
Author plans are for writers tracking their own career—stories, submissions, publications. Publisher plans add tools for publishing other people's work—contracts, editing workflows, multi-author collaboration. These are different use cases, not tiers of the same thing.
Is there an annual billing option?
Author Bookworm is annual only at $20/year. Author Quill and Publisher Quill offer both monthly and annual billing, with annual billing saving you the equivalent of two months.
What happens when I hit the 100-task limit on Bookworm?
You can upgrade to Author Quill at any time for unlimited tasks. We won’t delete your data or lock you out—you just won’t be able to create new tasks until you upgrade or complete existing ones.
